Water Sort Strategy: Empty Bottles, Hidden Colors and Undo
Water Sort asks you to collect each color in a full bottle. A useful move reveals the color you need next without using up all your spare space. Check the top color, destination capacity and remaining empty bottles before pouring.
Play GameA worked two-layer pour
Suppose the source contains blue, pink, pink from bottom to top. The destination contains blue, pink. Both tops are pink and the destination has two free spaces, so both pink layers move in one pour. Only blue remains in the source.
If the destination has only one free space, only one pink layer moves. A yellow top blocks the pour. A bottle is complete only when all four spaces contain the same color; a partly filled single-color bottle still needs work.
Undo keeps the last 100 pours but adds one to your move count. Your completion score is 1,000 minus five times the number of moves, with a minimum of one point. Practice finishing with one spare bottle before optimizing your score.
Read the top layers first
Only the top color can move. Select its bottle, then an empty bottle or a bottle topped with the same color. A connected run of that color pours together, limited by the available space. Look at the color that will be revealed beneath it before choosing a move.
Keep working space available
An empty bottle is temporary storage. Filling both empty bottles can reduce your options, so consider how you can empty one again. Completing a full bottle of one color reduces the number of active colors and makes the remaining puzzle easier to reason about.
Recover from a mistake
Undo supports the latest 100 moves and counts as a move for scoring. There is no timer or paid hint requirement. Restart returns to the same initial layout after confirmation. Every generated starting board is created by reversing legal pours from a solved arrangement.
Finish and continue
Each color must fill one bottle; empty bottles may remain. Stages start with six colors, adding one at stages four, seven, ten and thirteen for a maximum of ten. The difficulty menu lets you jump directly to Standard, Hard or Expert. The next unlocked stage is saved in this browser. Each color also has a distinct symbol so the puzzle is not dependent on color recognition alone.
